A twisted tale of blogging and privacy

Since this is the topic of the week, I thought some of you might be interested in a rather extreme version of a blogger’s privacy being violated. If you don’t follow the SCO-IBM trial that’s going on, you probably didn’t hear about this, but Burningbird has a nice summary, including a good quote from the blogger in question, Pamela Jones:

I never agreed to be a public person. I don’t want to be, and I have a human and a legal right to privacy. Just because you decide to blog, it doesn’t rob you of your rights as a private person.

I heard this whole sorted story in the car this morning, because Mr. Geeky is obsessed with the SCO trial and has been following Groklaw since its inception. Just some more for us to think about.
